Endicott Interconnect actively seeks out collaborative ventures with local academia, companies, and organizations in an effort to spur economic development in the region and to further technological innovation industry-wide.
Among our most recent collaborations:
Binghamton Center for Emerging Technologies
In November 2011 Endicott Interconnect launched the Binghamton Center for Emerging Technologies (BCET). This joint initiative with Binghamton University and local commercial, academic, and government agency members hopes to accelerate the commercialization of new and improved electronics systems and to attract funding and contracts to the region.
This exclusive nanotechnology consortium aims to identify and promote strategic areas of research and education in small scale systems integration. By working as a team, the group hopes to achieve commercialization of new and improved electronic systems for dual-use military and commercial purposes.
BCET will also act as a conduit for high-tech federal contracts, with the intention of meeting the Department of Defense’s increasing need for fast turnaround in technology development.
